Unformatted text preview: Phys 341: Final Exam Due Thursday Dec. 13 at 12:00 noon This is a take-home final exam, due on Thursday, December 13 at 12 noon. You may give it to me in person (room 305W in the Serin Physics Building), or email it as a PDF file (to [email protected]). If you do not hand your exam to me in person, please send email to tell me how you handed it in, and to confirm that I received it. Let me emphasize that I must receive your exam by noon. In working this exam, you MAY use the textbook, your own class notes, your own homework assignments, and the notes and solutions I have distributed this semester. You MAY NOT use any other book, anyone else’s notes, or the internet. You must work on your own; you MAY NOT discuss any part of the exam with anyone else, whether in the class or not, until after the due date. There is a total of 50 possible points on this exam. Show your work, and present all steps in a clear and logical way. Explain your reasoning and assumptions. I will give partial credit for partial solutions, but only if it is clear what you are doing....
