The atmosphere is linked to all Earths land, oxygen, and water through the exchange of gases. This exchange between elements allows us to predict the weather or climate. Over a century climate has changed due to natural processes, however general warming changes have been observed the by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and have occurred drastically since the 1950s. They have also indicated that it is extremely likely that human activity is the main source of the general warming causing climate change to pose a threat on humans’ way of life (Change, 2001). Indicators have shown that the human activities that impact climate the most are greenhouse gas emissions. Greenhouse Gas emissions are gasses emitted through changes in land, deforestation and soil degradation, solid waste, wood products and the burning of fossil fuels such as oil, natural gas, and coal.
