Socialism arguments Intro card Not a ture capitalist… Impossible IN my presentation I will first explain my reasoning behind believing in the capitalist system and therafter argue a socialist position. I believe capitalism to be moral, just and the closest organization of ppl to freedom IT is both moral and just b/c the degree to which a man rises or falls in society is determined by the degree in which he uses his mind. Capitalism is the only social system the rewards merit, ability and achievement, regardless of ones birth or station in life. Capitalism does have its flaws however, not everyone can be rich, prominence must be earned Churchill quote This is true, but the economic wealth of a nation needs to be distributed unequally. There are winners and losers in capitalism; an essential structure of the classes . The winners are those who are industriuous, prudent, disciplined reponnsible and efiecent. The looosers are those who are shiftless impractical inefficient and lazy…. the blessings of a nation are appropriated to favor the winners for good and obvious reasons. It is aslo without a doubt the “role of luck; being in the right place at the right time or the wrong place at the wrong time? As stated by– R.R. Pope plays a role in this However I do think that if you exercise the virtues of a capitalist winner you can overcome any bad luck streak. _*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*Stance change*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_ Capitalism has worked for the past 200 years. But it is immoral, we use it b/c it works the Free enterprise system the US was founded on no longer( does not) exist(s). (US founded on) However, Welfare, regulations, taxes, and tariffs, all socialist ideals b/c. they use the coercive power of
