Flowcharting project Acc 304: Introduction to Accounting Information Systems Dr. Bob Hurt, C.F.E. As noted in the course syllabus, you’ll be completing an individual flowcharting project this quarter. This handout gives you the assignment directions and grading criteria for the assignment. I encourage you to start the assignment as early as possible after we cover flowcharting in class, and to ask questions during project labs and / or in the office. Directions Your flowchart should be based on the description of the “food service and collection process” from the Peking Palace case in your eBook. You may omit the following portions of the process: accounts receivable for the two special customers, sale of gift certificates, employee discounts, tickets on the house. But, you must include the portions of the process completed by Mr. Chen and the other owners with respect to cash handling, bank deposits and transaction recording (as well as the previous steps in the process). Since the case is focused on the employees of Peking Palace, I would recommend the following columns
