For those of you that do not have the textbooks yet, the list of problems is in the same posting in the assignment section. Solve problems in textbook: 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.15, 3.35 3.6 and 3.36 are bonus BE 2350 Experimental Methods for Engineers Due February 10, 2011 1. Determine the coefficients “a”, “b”, and “c” for the least square method in the equation y = a x 2 + b x + c (you already have the derivatives with respect to each of these parameters, so all you have to do is expand the equations and collect the terms to obtain the equations in your notes, then solve a system with three equations to find the three unknown “a”, “b”, and “c”)
