Jimmy Lauria 07:01:09 English 1102 11-12:15 Rhetorical Precis Barry Brummett, in his chapter “Gangsta Rap,” asserts that Hip-Hop at a glance portrays a minuscule amount of the actual complexity and political meanings behind it. Brummett supports his argument by bringing to light some of today’s common misconceptions about the art, and how the visual rhetoric involving music videos, is meant to play alongside the music.
