Dickson Bridger English 1200, 9 Dr. Schlobin December 1, 2009 CANCER RESISTANT Cancer is a term used for diseases in which abnormal cells divide without control and are able to invade other tissues. Cancer cells spread to parts of the body through the blood and lymph systems (Zgya). There are over one hundred different types of cancer. Cancer is one of the most deadly diseases killing millions of people each year and could possibly be the number one killer in the coming decade"(International Journal). Even though millions of people get cancer each year, two out of every three people escape from ever getting this dangerous disease (Zgya). How is it that only one out of every three people gets cancer? What do the people without cancer have that makes them so special? There are many different mechanisms involved on how people are resistant to cancer. This is possible through Immunological mechanism, Genetic mechanisms, and Intracellular mechanisms(International Journal). Immunological mechanism is the collection is a lymphocyte, twenty five
