Many people feel that pure ice cream is not healthy and are switching to yogurts and low-calorie products instead. CREATIVE STRATEGY Principal competition. Cowabunga Cream Bars are new to the market but will be priced and marketed similarly with Haagen-Dazs products. Haagen-Dazs is the current leading brand among gourmet ice creams. Customer profile. Men and women age 28-35, with total household income of $50,000 or more. Usually with families. Customer benefit. Cowabunga Cream Bars come in seven flavors and are easy to eat, with no messy scooping involved—plus, their packaging is environmentally safe.
