Bardet 2.2 Earth structure and dynamic 2.2 Structure of the Earth (2) b 0- 40 km Crust b 40- 650 Upper mantle b 650-2900 Lower mantle b 2900-5150 Outer core b 5150-6378 Inner core The 3 layers of the Earth are: The core : Located in the center, it represents 17% of the volume of the Earth; the core is divided into inner core (solid) and outer core (liquid) The mantel: Represents the biggest volume of the Earth, 81%, and is divided into lower mantle (solid) and upper mantle (liquid).
