C., Canada June 1, 2008 ABSTRACT Green agricultural products are produced by specific production in terms of principles of sustainable development. They have been becoming more and more valuable because of their attraction to a huge amount of potential consumers in the market. However, Chinese farmers who possess green agricultural products can not trade these products to increase income since agriculture industry can not reduce costs through mass production as in the industry field. The results are mainly from constrains of agricultural territory, sales channels, and marketing modes. Therefore, the fundamental ways to solve this problem are to enhance strength of marketing management and expansion of sales channels so that Chinese farmers may improve economic benefits of green agricultural products. In this thesis, Chapter 1 describes the introduction of the thesis, including the definition and profile of basic concept of green agricultural products. Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 analyze the sales environment of green agricultural products. And Chapter 4 discusses the existing problems of green agricultural products and suggests constructive proposals for these problems.
