Price 1 Jonathan Price Dr. Rowe English 1301 Tues/Thurs. 11:00 a.m. Journal 10 10 November 2010 My Experience In all my years of life on this Earth, up until the present, I have undergone many things; things that I remember and also things which remain vaguely implanted within my conscience. However, there is one thing that I do know, and that is that the contents of these three essays by the various authors more or less intertwine in some way of my experiences in growing up as a child. In “ How to write a letter ” by Garrison Keillor, Keillor expresses the vital importance of writing a letter. “We shy persons need to write a letter now and then, or we’ll dry up and blow away” (Keillor 535). As an extremely shy individual, I can wholeheartedly relate to such descriptions. What the author is talking about in this piece describes my social life. “So a shy person sits down and writes a letter.
