Long time ago, people of the lower class used to eat fresh and uncooked foods. However in these days, fresh foods are better known as healthier foods. People also tend to buy the more fresh foods. However according to the article called In Praise of Fast Food by Rachel Laudan from her book the Gastronomica Reader, Laudan contends that modern fast foods have positive effects on our bodies. On the other hand, most people in these days think that fast foods are unhealthy and have more negative effects. Even though many people think fast foods are unhealthy, Laudans argument is more logical because modern foods are faster to cook, safer, and cheaper than fresh food . In current times, there are a lot of workers going out to work in the morning. In order to save time and be fast, people usually buy fast food such as McDonalds or microwave refridgerated foods.
