What are the key objectives of this process? - Key objectives involve getting answers to questions such as: Why does this process exist? The sales and cash receipts process exists to ensure that units receiving cash for sales are aware that their responsibility is to properly receipt the proceeds, and document the procedure to be followed. How does the process support the organizations strategy and contribute to its success? The process of taking receipts and documenting the process helps to keep track of where money is going and thus organizes the business. If transactions were not being tracked and recorded it could lead to money laundering which is not a goal for the clothing company. How are people expected to act? People in the company are expected to act diligently to the process but also with loyalty and integrity. What else does the process do that is important to management? The process of sales and cash receipts also helps management to track sales and connect it to
