It is my sincere hope that you will find this course both interesting and worthwhile. Your success is my chief concern. To that end, I would like to share my expectations of you and what you should expect of me. The pace of this course is very fast . For every hour of class time, you should expect to spend three hours of preparation and homework. I consider our relationship to be a "partnership". I will be prepared every class and expect you to be prepared as well. This means reading the material to be covered beforehand, reviewing class notes and examples, and completing written homework assignments as well. Please understand that the guidelines I have established are to insure that the course is run in an efficient and uniform manner for all students. As you can easily surmise, having one set of common expectations will eliminate any confusion. If you have any questions or need further clarification on any of the items mentioned above please do not hesitate to discuss this with me. I am available before and after class to discuss your progress. Wishing you much success in this and all your courses!
