Shall We Dance - Final Group Project (Section 5) 15 points DUE: April 19 Presentations: Groups 1, 2, 3, 4 21 Presentations: Groups 5, 6, 7 & 8 Goal Create a thesis about dance in American cinema by analyzing a musical-dance film. Objectives Use a musical-dance film to support your thesis. Note: the film’s release date must be before 1991 (meaning 1990 or before). Use concepts, vocabulary and ideas from the readings and the other films we have studied to support your thesis Decipher the effectiveness of your presentation by using a five-step process: Plan, Prepare, Practice, Present and Self-evaluate. Criteria Your groups’ presentation must be 15 to 20 minutes & presented using Power Point Submit a Group Information/Summary Sheet at the time of the presentation that includes: All group members’ first and last names The role/contribution of each group member Film Information: Title, Release Year, Lead Actors and Character Names & Brief Synopsis Thesis Statement Use scholarly material to complete your research on the
