CHEMISTRY 1032 – INFORMATION FOR THE FINAL EXAM *************** READ CAREFULLY **************** THE EXAM IS SCHEDULED FOR: Tuesday, MAY 11 th , in TL303AB, from 5:30-7:30 YOU MUST BRING YOUR TEMPLE ID WITH YOU TO THE EXAM. The Final Exam will be a multiple choice exam (no problems/short answer questions). This exam covers the work of the entire semester (chapters 11 -19) . There will be about 70 questions, and the exam is worth 200 points. You will have 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete the exam. The exam is a standardized test, published by the Examinations Institute of the American Chemical Society (ACS). Several thousand students at colleges and universities across the country will be taking the same or a similar exam as part of their chemistry final. The best way to prepare for this exam is to do the practice multiple choice questions posted on MasteringChemistry , re-do some homework questions, as the well as problems at the end of each chapter. It is always a good idea to review your exams, look where you made mistakes (answers on Bb) so that you don’t make the same mistakes again! Also, make sure you review the document titled ACS Multiple Choice Practice Exam – Gen Chem II (on Blackboard under Course Documents and Back Exams). This document contains practice multiple choice questions which will help you prepare for the final exam. The final exam will contain very similar questions! Attempt as many of the practice multiple choice questions as possible.
