TOP TEN REASONS YOU BOMBED THE pH LAB REPORT # 10)  Used way too many adjectives. "drastic" being the most popular. # 9) Wrote seven sentences lines to discuss the experiment instead of seven paragraphs. # 8) Spoke in the first person. "To test this hypothesis my partner and I designed the following experiment."  # 7) Did not use the format provided in the lab manual and the grading sheet.  # 6)  Wrote more about the pH meter than pH.  # 5) Wrote more about water than the buffer. # 4) Did not discuss the chemistry of the buffer that was being tested.
