CC306M: Information for Test 3 I. What does the test cover? The test covers the material presented in class (e.g. terms, etymologies, historical information) and the chapters on ‘Cardiovascular System’, ‘Blood and Lymphatic Systems’, and ‘Respiratory System’ which are ch. 5, 6, and 7 in your textbook. As stated and demonstrated numerous times in class, the ability to break medical terms into their component parts is imperative to performing well on tests. Many of the combining forms, roots, prefixes, and suffixes you have already learned for the previous tests will show up again on this test and subsequent tests. a. (15 questions from the lectures and chapter 5) In addition to what was covered in class, you are responsible for the following information in chapter 5: 1. You should study the information in the following tables: ‘Combining Forms’, ‘Anatomic Terms’, ‘Symptomatic Terms’, and ‘Diagnostic Terms’. b.
