2 Five Pillars of Islam Each religion is based on their own beliefs and views. Each religion follows their own path of beliefs and they live their lives by believing in them, they set a standard for their children to follow even into the future. In the religion of Islam they believe in and live by the Five Pillars of Islam which I will be discussing in this paper.

3 Five Pillars of Islam The first Pillar of Islam is what they call Belief and Witness or also called the (Shahadah) which means from birth the children are whispered into their ears that “There is no but God, and Muhammad is the messenger of God” the faithful can tell others about Islam as required in the Qur’an, the sole purpose for this is that they have all the information needed to make a intelligent decision about Islam and not be coerced into believing what is not true about the religion.
