Chen-Ning Franklin Yang was born in Hefei,Anhui ,China. He is a Chinese- American physicist who worked on statistical mechanics and particle physics. Yang attended elementary and high school in Beijing. He received his bachelor’s degree in 1942 at the national southwestern associated University. In 1948, Yang received his doctorate. In 1966 he moved to the State University of New York at Stony Brook and became the Albert Einstein Professor of Physics. After retiring from Stony Brook he went back to Tsinghua University as honorary director. Yang and Tsung-dao Lee received the 1957 Nobel prize in physics for their work on parity nonconservation of weak interaction. He is a hard worker of modest habits who has published a long list of scientific papers. Lee began training in Wing Chun at the age of 13 under the Wing Chun teacher Yip Man in 1954. Lee also learned Karate, tae kwon do ,etc. In March 1961, Lee enrolled at the University of Washington, majoring in drama. He also Studied philosophy, psychology. Lees Hong Kong and Hollywood-produced films elevated the traditional Hong Kong martial arts film to a new level of popularity, and spread a major surge of interest in Chinese martial arts in the West in the 1970s. Lee died in 1973 due to allergic to medicine, but his cinematic success spawned a global industry of the martial arts, and schools opened and flourished worldwide.
