Some software limits the amount of computers it can be installed on. Others will state in the licensing agreement that it can’t be shared. So in either of these instances it is not ethically okay/legal. b. It would still be just as illegal. c. It depends on the licensing agreement. Schools can purchase software that allows it to be installed on multiple computers and permits distribution to students. 2. Software Ethics 2 – The easiest way would be to include a product key with the product and require it to be registered online before the purchaser is able to use the program. That way there is a database to check the entered product keys against. 3. Media Management – You would first need an adequately sized hard drive to store the multimedia on, a TV tuner to be able to watch/ record TV shows on your computer, and a decent graphics and sound card to be able to enjoy playback.
