Problems Faced by Global Communications Global Communications’ ethical dilemma was how the company chose to handle the news of the new strategy. The senior executive team did not disclose the news to the union vice-president. The senior executive team as tried to spin the news when going public without tell them whole truth. Research was conducted on America n Express and Tag Heuer. Both of these companies had similar issues that Global Communication endured. American Express attempted to monopolize the market. American Express American Express began as a freight company, whose main clients were banks. In 1882, American Express launched the money order business (About Us: American Express, 2008). American Express introduced the world’s first traveler chcke in 1891. In more recent histiory, American Express lauched their first credit card on October 1, 1958. By the early 1990s there was more competition in the credit card market. Credit card companies such as Visa, MasterCard, and Discover to offer the same product as American
