Questions to help you review for midterm 2
Midterm 2 is cumulative, but the emphasis is on

.
Extra office hours next week
: Wednesday 11am  12:30pm.
Usual hours on Friday as well.
Some suggestions:

Summarize each section we’ve covered in 6 to 7 sentences.

Write down major formulas/concepts/results.

Identify a problem from the homework which best illustrates how the for
mula/concept/result was used.

Review how you solved the problem.
–
Find a similar problem from the Review Exercises at the end of each chapter,
and do it.

Sometimes it is helpful to reorder your notes, so that it is easier to make connec
tions between related topics. For example
