Connective Tissue 3. What is common to all types of connective tissue? Describe any variations in components among the different connective tissues. All connective tissues support and bind various cells and locations throughout the entire body. They all secrete a MATRIX. 4. Where in the body do you find loose connective tissue? Dense connective tissue? Loose connective is found in blood vessels (areolar), supporting lymphoid organs and hold together adipose tissue (reticular), and in fat (adipose). 5. Use a separate sheet of paper to prepare a summary table listing the six types of connective tissues, the specific types of cells in each tissue type, one place in the human body where the tissue is found, the appearance of the tissue, and its major function. *see attached sheet*
