Don’t answer those questions.
Answer these:

b.
What are the main features of the histogram in part a?
c.
Find the 5number summary for these data (do not use a computer package for
this part).
d.
Construct an interval for the middle 50% of the data.

Answer these:
a.
Create a 5number summary for each of the two data sets.
Data A:
n=11, so median position is #6:M=8.14.
Q1 is median of first 5 observations = 3
rd
position among them = 6.13
Q3 is median of last 5 observations = 3
rd
position among them = 9.13
Min = 3.10 and Max = 9.26
So
5number summary is: 3.10, 6.13, 8.14, 9.13, 9.26
Data B:
n=11, so median position is #6: M=7.04.
