English 102: Intermediate College Writing Stephen Strother Homework You will have some written work due in this class almost every day. These assignments will typically be short and require some kind of response to reading. Sometimes, however, they will be longer, perhaps one to one and a half pages. Most homework assignments will require you to answer questions about reading. These questions will rarely be simple questions about content with answers that are clearly “right” or “wrong.” Most of these questions will require some kind of analysis or thinking on your part about the reading at hand. However, some questions will simply be nothing more than content questions with definite, correct answers. These assignments will always be posted on BlackBoard on the “Discussion Board,” which you can find under “Communication” on the BlackBoard homepage for this class . Each new forum will be clearly marked with the due date for that posting. For example, if the work is due on January 8, 2010, then the forum will be titled “Homework
