Tutorial week 6 Types of mouse 1. Mechanical mouse - a mechanical mouse requires a ball to move the cursor on the screen. Thus a flat surface named mouse pads is necessary so that it can work mare efficient. It starts from RM 10 onwards 2. Optical-mechanical mouse- it is a combination of optical and mechanical technologies. It still uses ball a ball but it detects the movement of the mouse optically. Price is RM 10 onwards 3. Optical mouse- uses optical sensor to help detecting the mouse’s movement. It start from RM 30 and above 4. Cordless mouse- uses the wireless technologies such as infrared or Bluetooth to transmit data to the computer. It does not have cord. It starts from RM 15 and above 5. Wireless mouse- it relies on infrared, radio signals or Bluetooth to communicate with the computer. It contains transmitter to send information to a receiver connected to the computer. The mouse is useable from 2m to 10m from the computer. It starts from RM 30 and above. Types of keyboard
