Identify the problem:In this case study we find that the Blaze company is one that make textile products, and they have recently been experiencing some financial distress. They have found that manufacturing in the US is more expensive than in other countries. This is due to lower wages and lower regulations on safety and environment, functioning with regulations, which in turn costs more forthe company. The Blaze Manufacturing company doesn’t produce mass quantities of their textile products, but instead provides the template where the customers choose the details that they desire for a more personalized approach. However, their textile products do have standard constructions.Recently, the Blaze company has realized an increasing struggle financially.
