14:440:127 Class Structure One Lecture per week – Introduce concepts, give initial examples – Attend Lecture you were assigned – Always attend the same one: LECTURE QUIZZES – Print and READ lecture notes before lecture One Recitation per week few of the problems in the Recitation Problems Sets – Must attend assigned section (SEC01 to SEC08) – Allowed to work in teams of 2-3 to Recitation Problems Sets – We will not be checking those practice problems – Solutions will be after the last recitation day – Quizzes will be during recitations 4

14:440:127 Deliverables Homework Problem Sets - 10% – Grading rubric will be provided 3 Projects - 15% Medium level of involvement – Graded on achievement (correct output) Strict formatting requirements since they are computer graded 3 closed book Exams - 65% C++ Written Exam during lecture unless there is a snow cancelation MatLab Computer Exam during your assigned recitation section – Final Exam will be a Hrybrid Exam: C++ & MatLab, Written and Computer 6
