This play keeps the audience laughing. Plot: 1. A father who has recently experienced a heart attack spends the summer in a summer home with his daughter and house keeper. This 1950s summer is filled with loves from the past and present problems. A simple lunch turns into a dramatic event. The return of the father’s ex wife and the Clemma’s husband just add to the drama that already exists between Josie and her ex-fiancé, ex boyfriend, and ex “fling”. What seems like a disaster turns into laughter. 2. Protagonist: Josie 3. Antagonist: Kenny 4. Nature of conflict: Josie has broken the engagement and is now interested in Kenny’s friend Ray. 5. Balance: Although Josie breaks it off with Kenny he seems persistent. Kenny is determined to make things work with Josie. He will do anything to prove to Josie
