“One man is naturally fitted for one task, and another for another.” Plato, From The Republic - Pg 85 lines 42-44 This quotes briefly and simply talks about specialization. When he says one man it can also refer to an entire nation, like every country has something they can do better than the rest of the world. Plato is just simply stating that nature always has a plan one man will always be better at something then the other man. Because of this the world can work together and make life a million times is easier. From a business aspect this quote provides so much insight. When the world specializes in their department that they are best at, the product is not only better, but produced at a much faster level. All business people know that it is not possible or smart to make and do everything the world will just not allow it. Without specialization the world cannot grow together not to mention the resources we need from different parts of the world. Business requires and needs specialization to
