Course summary: This course is a calculus-based introduction to electromagnetism and optics. A primary goal of the class is to learn problem-solving and critical thinking skills that will serve you in a wide variety of careers. Many of you who are preparing for careers in the health sciences will need information from this class (arguably) more than from the first class. Modern techniques in medicine including radiation therapy, magnetic resonance imaging, and any electronic diagnostic method depend on concepts covered in this course. Prerequisites:
