Managers need to be sure to keep open lines of communication within their organization, so that everyone knows what is happening and why. Inadequate communication can lead to confusion, frustration, and anxiety. Whenever managers delegate, they need to be sure that they have communicated clearly. COMMUNICATION MEDIUM: The method that is used to carry a message from the sender to the receiver. Examples of communication media are face-to-face, telephoning, e-mail, text-messaging, and faxing. FEEDBACK: The process of telling someone else how you feel about something that person did or said.
