NI 2.2 Acute watery stools related to excessive food and beverage intake as evidenced by loose stools persisting after other changes in diet (with exception of juice) I: Nutrition Intervention (Step 3) Goal: To have baby’s stool return to normal w/I two weeks Intervention: RD sit w/ mom, discuss juices, try juices with lower sugar – actual juice not cocktail. Go over importance of introducing new foods to baby E1.1, E1.2 Encourage mom to see Dr. Z as recommended. Keep watching stool as indicated. Keep small food diary. Make appt. w/ dr. z in 2-3 weeks.
