Akshay Patel Summer Reading Period 7/8 Dear H.G. Wells, The Time Machine was an excellent book. There are many things I liked about the book. I love how this was a book that was science fiction, but not high-tech. I’m not a big fan of those high-tech science fiction stories. The story seemed real of what the future may really be like. Reading the book was adventurous. The story showed how a man “the Time Traveler” could deal with the society, while showing the humanity of the man. Everything in the book was so descriptive. I clearly understood how he traveled and how he felt while he was going through time. The thing I didn’t like about the book is that there was too much detail into unimportant events, which made the story confusing at times. I actually enjoyed this book. I usually find science fiction books boring. What made the story interesting was the fact that the book was about how the earth would be in the future. Also, time traveling is interesting the way you talk about it. Especially the character of the
