Students: Since we are not going to be around before the test (because of Spring Break), we are providing a review sheet. Let me start by saying that if any of you have trouble with any of these terms, please email us. Maggie and I will be checking our email during Spring Break. While filling out the review sheet, we have a few suggestions. It might be helpful to go through the sheet and pull out theories and theorists and make sure you have a good grasp on those concepts. Then you should be able to go through and either define (be sure to look at both the textbook and the powerpoints for the deviance material) the concept or know what it is referring to. As I said, please email us if you have questions. Again our email addresses are: Ashleigh McKinzie: amckinzi@uark.edu Maggie Cobb mcc003@uark.edu Conflict crime: crimes that are against the law but there is not a strong consensus against it. Labeling theory: types of deviance (primary, secondary, tertiary)
