Conclusion: Based on the data obtained, it is possible to determine the parents of the babies since their blood types differ from each other. Although blood typing is not the usual route to check if a parent’s child is biologically theirs, in this case, since the three parents have different genotype possibilities and assuming that these are the only cases of this kind in the hospital, blood typing is the easiest way to match the right parent with the right baby.

Since baby #1 was tested to have an O blood type, it can be concluded that baby #1 is Mr. and Mrs. Green’s. The possible genotypes for Mr. and Mrs. Anderson’s offspring were blood types AB, AO, BB, and BO. Since baby #2 was tested to have blood type AB, the baby can be concluded to be Mr. and Mrs. Anderson’s.
