The insatiable demand for everything wireless, video, and Web-enabled everywhere will be the driving force behind developments in telecommunications, networking, and computing technologies for the foreseeable future. Do you agree or disagree? Why? I agree that the demand for wireless, video, and Web-enabled capabilities are the driving force behind developments in telecommunications, networking, and computing technologies. However, I believe that the need of the internet is mostly responsible for the demand for wireless, video, and Web-enabled technology, thus enabling the developments for technologies in the areas mentioned above. For reference, telecommunications is the exchange of information in any form over networks and a network is an interconnected or interrelated chain, group, or system (p. 208, 211). The internet continues to be the single most important factor that determines development in telecommunications, networking, and computing technologies.
