Mkt 351 Winter 2011 Tanning Behavior Research Report Due Date: Thursday, April 14, 2011 Authors: You may write your paper as a team or with one other person . You should each do the same amount of work and will each get the same grade. If you do the paper alone, base it on your surveys of three consumers. If you write the paper with a co-author you must base the paper on the six consumers. Questionnaires: You must turn in all of your questionnaires with your final report. Length: As long as it takes! Less than five pages (typed, double spaced, one inch margins, 12 point type) is likely to be too short. Issue: Skin cancer accounts for half of all reported cancer cases in the United States and about 12,000 deaths per year, according to the American Cancer Society. The majority of cases are caused by over exposure to UV light. Younger Americans are tanning more than ever before. Heavy promotion from some tanning salons has suggested that getting vitamin D is a great health benefit of tanning.
