To develop an understanding of what finance is all about. 2. To gain an exposure to specifics of the financial decision making process. 3. To develop an understanding of analytical techniques in finance and their applications to a variety of problems in finance. 4. To develop problem solving ability with particular application to financial decision making involving timing of cash flows. 5. To focus on the implication of the global environment on business decision making through specific examples, problems and topical coverage. 6. To improve written and oral communication skills. 7.
