Klein MGT475 Outline for Creating A New Table - Procedure for creating new tables - Create new table (descriptive name that starts with ZIII) - Do preliminary stuff as described in the book - Description - Delivery Class (Application) - Table View Maintenance (Maintenance Allowed) - Create Fields (descriptive name without ZIII) - Client is first field using an existing data element MANDT which is tied to an existing domain - New Fields - Field name (your own name) - Enter Data Element Name then forward navigate and define this (use a name that starts with ZIII; see next) - In class demo, use ziiiZIP1, so we create a new element - You will likely be asked to save the table here; do so and save as a Local Object - Create Data Element (descriptive name that starts with ZIII) - Enter Description - Define Labels - Add documentation - Enter Domain then forward navigate (use a name that starts; with ZIII;see next)
