If you are not asked to explain the answer, you need not give any explanation. 5. You may answer in English or Chinese. Problems: 1. (15 marks) (a) What is the ecliptic? (b) Suppose the earth spins ( 自轉 ) in the opposite direction (from East to West) but its direction of orbital motion ( 公轉 ) does not change, can we still define the ecliptic? Use no more than 30 words to explain your answer. (c)
