Ms. Alinda First I think that Elizabeth New Life need to establish an accounting staff. “Small organizations can usually maintain the books by assigning this responsibility to a volunteer, part-time staff person, or full-time administrative assistant who has other responsibilities” (Smith, Bucklin & Associates, 2000, p 288). This staff responsibility will to keep up with all the cash receipts, accounts payable, petty cash and an accurate record of how the money is received and disbursed. This small staff will give reports to the organization’s leadership to review on a monthly basis.
