Complete the matrix below to determine the potential response of each of the religious groups in your community. Use the attached links to research the basic moral and ethical principles believed by each group. Then determine how you believe each group will react to the issue based on what you find. Con Buddhist would be against creationism since it is the belief of the Old Testament Bible. Con Buddhist seeks knowledge but would often be discouraged from interfering with other countries and their religions.

Con The Pledge of Allegiance and mentioning of God is against the Buddhist religious philosophies and teachings. Con Buddhist would view gay and lesbian support as an unethical decision and lifestyle. Pro Buddhism would agree with interracial relationships if the relationship was balanced and worked towards achieving enlightment.
