An Overview of the Grading System for Eng 355: 201 Analytical Paper: 20% Literature Reviews: 20% Research Proposal: Pass/No Pass Oral Presentation: 10% Final Research Paper: 50% Students must submit all components of the course in order to receive a passing grade. Also students must pass the Final Research Paper in order to pass the course. In an effort to accurately determine the Final Grade, based on these percentages, please use the following system: A: 90 - 100% B+: 85 - 89% B: 80 - 84% C+: 75 - 79% C: 70 - 74% Anything below 70% is a failure. Thus, when considering either the Analytical Paper or the Literature Reviews, both of which are worth 20% of the final grade, consider you are giving students points out of 20 for each of these assignments. This would imply: A: 18 - 20 B+: 17 B: 16 C+: 15
