Sequence Diagram Tutorial This is your first tutorial for the behavioral models. In this tutorial, you will learn how to draw a sequence diagram. It is a  time-ordered diagram that shows processing starting from the top of the diagram and proceeding down. In this tutorial,  you will be drawing most of the sequence diagram in your textbook on page 241. So open your text book to page 241 and  let’s get started.   1. Launch  Visio 2007 , click on the  UML  model icon and open your  CIS339.Tutorials  file. This tutorial  assumes that you did the previous class diagram tutorial.  2. In the model explorer, right-click on “ Tutorial Package ,” “ New ,” and “ Sequence Diagram .” You now  should have a new page and the “ UML Static Structure ” shapes should be open.  3. Open the “ UML Use Case ” shapes and drag two actors to your drawing. Name one “ aPatient ” and the  other “ aReceptionist .”  4. Drag an “ Object Lifeline ” to the drawing. Put it next to the  aReceptionist  actor. Double-click in it and  name it “ Patients:PatientsList .” Create two more giving one the name “ UnPaidBills:BillsList ,” and  Appointment:ApptsList .”  The syntax is “ Object:Class ” so the “ Lists ” are the classes that each object  belongs to.
