SCHOOL OF FAMILY LIFE 328 HISTORY OF INTERIOR DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE I 2056 JFSB – 801-422-3820 [email protected] CLASS POLICIES: See attached sheet TEXTS: Handouts in Class EXAMINATIONS: Three exams plus a final will be given. Each exam will focus on the material just covered. The exams will consist of the identification of examples, details, designers, and significant facts from slides. Spelling must be accurate. Each exam is worth 100 points. FINAL: The final (exam #4) will be worth 100 points and will cover the American Design section. The final will be given on the regularly scheduled final day published by the university. There will be no exceptions (according to University policy). HANDOUTS AND STUDY FILE: Create a study file or flash cards for the exams by researching terms and examples from the vocabulary list using Google image searches. This is a suggestion rather than a requirement, but PowerPoint slides will not be posted online. You will be responsible to find images. I will provide a “handout” on Blackboard for each section with
