From: Taylor Morris (Media Relations Consultant) Date: October 23, 2007 Re: Increasing Internet visibility Mr. Price, I appreciate your request for advice on how to increase the visibility of JerseyNet, Inc. on the Internet. There are many good ways to improve and retain Internet visibility; however, I will narrow the process to three essential factors: (1) Visually-oriented website, (2) Search Engine Optimization, and (3) Press Releases and Weblogs. Visual Website Good People always prefer visual-friendly websites. I suggest hiring someone in website graphics and design to include at least the following in your website layout: Pictures of people and products related to your industry Action settings; e.g., mouse-over movements, sound bites for mouse clicks, etc . . . Videos that have key staff speaking about the company, explaining products, etc . . . Three-dimensional graphics and designs Having a visual-friendly website attracts more customers, establishes credibility, and reflects professionalism. This is a good start to increasing your company’s visibility, but there are better ways to get people to visit your website.
