(1) Both cellular respiration and photosynthesis can be affected by toxins. a) Cyanide is a toxin that blocks the use of oxygen in the inner mitochondrial membrane. Paraquat is an herbicide that blocks the formation of oxygen in the thylakoid membrane. Compared to a normal (animal or plant) cell, how do these toxins affect ATP production?
