Grading Rubric for Exams (50 points) Category Point values Point s Terms and their use Are all vocabulary terms used? (Minus 4 pts per missing term) Are vocabulary terms used accurately? (Minus 3 pts per term for inaccurate usage) Are vocabulary terms defined instead of used in a way that reflects student understanding? (Minus 3 pts per term) Flow/ Accuracy of Content Spelling, grammatical, punctuation, sentence structure, verb tense errors (Minus 1 per error, up to 5 pts deduction) Is the information in the paragraph accurate? (Minus 3 pts per unclear, inaccurate, or contradictory statement) Is there a good, coherent flow with smooth transitions in the paragraph?
